WELCOME TO GOLCAR CC ......

Nestled at the head of the Colne and Holme valley's, in the rural heart of the Yorkshire Pennines, just outside the main town of Huddersfield, the Golcar Club is one of the founder members of the Huddersfield & District Cricket League, with a proud tradition within the village for working hard ..... and playing even harder.

The club runs 2 Senior teams ..... competing in the 'Drakes' sponsored Huddersfield League, where local players resume age old rivalries each weekend ..... and where many excellent overseas pro's plus current and former County players have successfully plied their trade ..... in one of West Yorkshire's top Leagues ...

Alongside our Seniors .... we have our 5 Junior Age group teams ..... with an aim in mind of providing cricket for all ages and abilities ..... both as a benefit for the Golcar community ..... and as an investment for the future of the club ..... particularly with there now being so many other activities and distractions taking people away from playing our glorious game .....?
